Pre-School
Our preschool class is where each child receives the early care and attention she deserves. The small group is taught quality social skills, emotional awareness, and Jewish values by our experienced educator.
Elementary School
A full Hebrew and secular education is provided to our first through eighth grade classes. Government-recognized ELA tests are administered each year to enable our students to succeed beyond our walls.
High School
Ninth through twelfth grade classes are regent-accredited and geared towards higher education. We are known for our quality educators, organized schedules, structured learning, and small-sized classes.
Individualized Direction
We keep our classes small to give each student the chance to shine amongst her peers. Our student to teacher ratio is, on average, 16:1.
Growth-Oriented Atmosphere
In Shalsheles, Judaism is viewed as a cherished privilege. We use encouragement, not pressure, to enable our students to continue growing in their individual paths.
Solid Education
We provide an all-inclusive education; from general Jewish studies, to arts and music, to secular studies. We cover all facets of a highly academic school.
Family Connected
Our philosophy is to involve Shalsheles families in all aspects of school life. We help with specific, targeted outreach and include parents and family in many of our events.

Shalsheles is the place to be. I’ve been in this school since 7th grade and I’ve graduated this year. The past 6 years were incredible. It was a home away from home. The principals, teachers, and all the students were so warm and caring, they made you want to come back every single day and be part of the amazing atmosphere. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend my years as a student. I am happy I chose Shalsheles because it made me into the person I am today!
